Charioteer driving quadriga walking to right, holding goad in his right hand and the reins in his left; above, Nike flying right to crown the horses. Rev. ΣΥΡΑΚΟΣΙΟΝ Head of Arethusa to right, her hair bound in a sakkos ornamented with a patterned band over her forehead and wearing a double spiral earring and a simple necklace; before her head, two dolphins swimming upwards and one swimming downwards; behind her neck, dolphin swimming upwards. Boehringer 650 (V329/R444). Struck from worn dies, otherwise, about very fine.
